The first time I came to Potential Church was during the Youth Summer Camp in 2017. That camp was life-changing for me because I was going through a tough season trying to discover my purpose and identity. At summer camp, I committed my life to Christ and was baptized. I have since then become more involved in the youth ministry. Potential Youth has literally saved my life. I now serve in our Tribe Cafe, learning more about God, and bringing more people to know Him.
I began attending Potential Church in 2019, after my family relocated here from South Africa. I first attended the youth summer camp and found a sense of belonging and a forever family. This place is now home to me. Through attending weekly Tribe groups and monthly one nights, I have gained confidence and now invite my friends to join me. My life has been changed because of Potential Youth.
At a youth one night I felt that the message was speaking directly to me. Since that one encounter, I have this newfound joy in my life that carries me through every challenge. I have grown closer to God through the Tribe youth groups and one night events. I decided to commit my life to Christ and put on my God jersey. I was baptized Christmas of 2020 and my life has been forever changed.
